Kevin Kiermaier goes 0-for-5 in return from DL

After missing two months with a hand injury, Kevin Kiermaier returned to the lineup Wednesday and went 0-for-5 with a strikeout in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Astros. Kiermaier's batting average now sits at .146 through 48 at-bats.
Fantasy Impact:
Kiermaier wasn't hitting all that well before he injured his thumb, so the 0-for-5 shouldn't be all the surprising. That being said, making a return against Justin Verlander is just about as tough as it gets. Kiermaier was slotted in at the top of the lineup, sending Mallex Smith to the seven-hole and Johnny Field to the bench.
