Jake Diekman allowed a run on two hits with a strikeout over an inning of work, collecting his second save of the season in the process Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Diekman was called upon with Keone Kela resting. If Diekman would remain in Texas past the deadline, he could assume the closer role, should Kela be shipped out of town. He's posted an ERA and WHIP of 2.96 and 1.39 with 35 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings this season.
