Sean Newcomb tosses quality start in no-decision Friday

Sean Newcomb allowed one run on five hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings in a no-decision against the Orioles on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
The only run Newcomb allowed was a solo home run to Chris Davis, but he was otherwise excellent against the Orioles on Friday. Unfortunately, he left a 1-1 game after seven innings and was not able to pick up the win, though the Braves did pull out a win in extras. He now has an excellent 2.59 ERA and 84 strikeouts over 87 innings pitched and is set to take on the Reds at home in his next start.
