Lance McCullers pitched seven shutout innings, scattering three hits, while striking out seven and walking two. The Astros' beat the Rays 1-0.
Fantasy Impact:
McCullers grew up miles away from Tropicana Field so it was a bit of a homecoming for the young right-hander. He was dominant all night commanding the strike zone and confusing batters with his knuckle curve. On the season, McCullers is 9-3 with a 3.55 ERA--he has 106 strikeouts in 101 1/3 IP.
