James Paxton struck out 11 batters while giving up no runs on two hits and two walks to earn his eighth win of the season against the Royals on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Big Maple was on top of his game Sunday, as he only allowed one runner past first base in his 110-pitch gem. While this was his first scoreless outing since May 8, Paxton is 8-2 over 18 starts this season with 145 Ks and a 3.39 ERA over 111 2/3 innings. He is fifth in the league in strikeouts on the year, and continues to be an extremely valuable asset on the bump for any fantasy manager.
