Franklin Barreto optioned to Triple-A Nashville Tuesday

The Oakland Athletics on Tuesday reinstated Matt Chapman from the disabled list and optioned Franklin Barreto to Triple-A Nashville, Kyle Glaser of Baseball America reports. (Kyle Glaser on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
With no spot in the lineup available for regular at-bats, the Athletics are opting to send Barreto down to the minors where he has a clear path to playing time. The 22-year-old was batting .212 with three home runs through 52 at-bats with Oakland.
