Matt Andriese pitched two scoreless innings against the Marlins on Wednesday. He allowed one hit and two walks while striking out three. He lowered his season ERA to 3.71.
Fantasy Impact:
Andriese was pulled for a pinch hitter in the top of the third. Today is the second consecutive day in which the Rays pulled their starter early for a pinch hitter. Andriese although not fully stretched out seemed as if he would have been a good streaming option but all for not. He will continue to see work out of the pen and some spot starts going forward.
