The Phillies pounded the Pirates on Friday. 17-5. Seven different Phillies' pitchers got work, including Pat Neshek, who had a scoreless inning in his second appearance this season. He struck out two and allowed a hit. Of his 15 pitches, eight of them were for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
Neshek has a key piece to the Phillies bullpen last season before being traded. A healthy Neshek should pay dividends in the stretch run, as the Phillies should be in the playoff race until the end. Neshek can handle middle, as well as a short relief role.
