Nick Pivetta goes only 2 2/3 innings versus Pirates

The Phillies pounded the Pirates on Friday, 17-5, but Nick Pivetta failed to make it out of the third inning. He threw only 74 pitches, but allowed five hits and two walks in 2 2/3 innings. Pivetta allowed only one earned run and actually lowered his ERA from 4.66 to 4.62.
Fantasy Impact:
Pivetta has gone more than five innings only one in his last eight starts. Over his last three games, including one in relief, Pivetta has allowed eight earned runs in 5 1/3 innings.
