Brandon Belt went 1-for-4 with a single and a strikeout in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Cubs. Belt's average now sits at .302 through 281 at-bats.
Fantasy Impact:
After a down month of June, Belt has turned it on in July, posting a slash line of .378/.465/.459 with five multi-hit games. The knock this month would be the lack of power, but with an OPS of .925 this month and .900 on the season, it's tough to complain about much regarding the All-Star Game Final Vote candidate.
