Stephen Strasburg looks good in his first rehab outing Tuesday

by Kari Thomas | Nationals Correspondent | Wed, Jul 11th 3:30pm EDT

Stephen Strasburg threw 57 pitches and covered 3 1/3 innings for Single-A Advanced Potomac. Nationals manager Dave Martinez said he was encouraged by the fact that Strasburg's velocity on his fastball was able to reach the upper 90's and his throwing shoulder felt strong. Per Martinez, Strasburg will pitch at least one more rehab game before returning to D.C. (Jamal Collier on MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Strasburg is expected to return to D.C. after the All-Star break. He's actually expected to be back and pitch during their first series after the break when Atlanta is in town. Keep an eye on updates regarding his next rehab outing.
