Freddy Peralta struggles in Miami

Freddy Peralta cruised through the first three innings on Wednesday against the Marlins without allowing a hit and just one walk. However, the fourth inning didn't go as well, as Peralta saw his pitch count rise allowing three runs on three hits and two walks before being removed with two outs in the inning. Peralta recorded four strikeouts as the Brewers lost in 12 innings, 5-4.

Fantasy Impact:

Peralta appeared to think he was getting squeezed on the strike zone, even throwing his arms up in disgust after a pitch that was called a ball at one point. The flustered Peralta finished with the shortest start of his young career. He'll get extended rest with the All-Star break forthcoming. As the Brewers determine their post-break rotation, Peralta will likely be part of it pending any big trades over the break.
