Eric Thames scores three runs in Brewers loss

Eric Thames hit from the leadoff spot again on Wednesday against Marlins right-hander Dan Straily. Thames reached base three times going 1-for-4 with a double and two walks, while he came around to score three times in the Brewers 5-4 extra-inning loss.

Fantasy Impact:

Thames collected four hits including two doubles and scored six runs during the three-game series in Miami. With All-Star Jesus Aguilar playing at first base most days, Thames has been patrolling RF more often, especially while Ryan Braun resides on the DL. Thames could get squeezed out of the lineup more often once Braun returns but for now, he is a viable fantasy asset hitting atop the Brewers lineup.
