Jake Arrieta allows only three hits in win over Marlins

The Phillies shutout the Marlins 2-0 behind strong pitching of Jake Arrieta. He allowed just three hits in seven innings or work, striking out three and walking three. Arrieta improved to 7-6 on the season and lowered his ERA to 3.23.

Arrieta is entering the All-Star break on high note. He's won his last two starts, posting an ERA of 1.29 over that stretch. He's struck out 72 and walked 33 in 103 innings and opponents are hitting .246 against him.
