Manny Machado trade to Dodgers hitting a possible snag?

Former general manager and current MLB Network Radio host Steve Phillips is reporting that there is a possible "snag in Machado deal to Dodgers. Sources indicate that one or more of prospects coming to Orioles have some issues in their physicals...May open door for other clubs. Stay tuned." (Steve Phillips on Twitter)

This comes as a reminder that no trade is final until all players have had their physicals and the paperwork has been signed. While this trade has reportedly been in place for the past 24 hours, it now sounds like there is a potential holdup in the deal due to issues discovered in one or more of the physicals. While the Orioles and Dodgers could still decide to move forward with the deal as-is or tweak the deal slightly, this news does create the possibility that a team such as the Brewers or Phillies could jump back into a Machado deal with a last-minute offer.
