Manny Machado traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers

Manny Machado has been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers despite the deal reportedly hitting a snag earlier in the day. The Orioles will a stash of prospects -- OF Yusniel Diaz, 3B Rylan Bannon, RHP Dean Kremer, RHP Zach Pop and 2B Breyvic Valera -- in return. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After plenty of rumors, the Dodgers bolstered their lineup with the addition of Machado. Chris Taylor will take a backseat at shortstop to make way for the All-Star. It's a park downgrade for the 26-year-old, but he'll also get to play plenty of games in Arizona and Colorado for the remainder of the season. He should see a boost in RBI opportunities as the Dodgers rank 9th in the Majors in runs scored whereas the Orioles ranked 29th.
