Edwin Diaz walked one in a scoreless ninth inning in Friday's win over the White Sox. He struck out one and earned his 37th save.

Another day, another easy save for Diaz, who has been outstanding all season long. He has a legitimate chance to threaten Francisco Rodriguez's single-season save record. Combine that with his outstanding peripherals (2.20 ERA, 0.80 WHIP), and that makes him the most valuable closer in the game right now.
