Sam Gaviglio allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk over 7 2/3 innings on Friday against the Orioles. He struck out eight and did not factor into the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Although the Orioles are one of the best matchups for an opposing pitcher now that Manny Machado is gone, Gaviglio couldn't lock down the win, allowing two home runs. His consistency overall is worth something, but his mediocre numbers (4.59 ERA, 1.28 WHIP) make him worth consideration only in AL-only leagues.
