Steven Matz allowed five runs on nine hits and a walk over five innings on Saturday against the Yankees. He struck out three and took the loss, falling to 4-8 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Matz looked good early, but ran into trouble in the fourth inning, giving up four of his five runs. Matz's strikeouts have declined in each of his last four starts, which is hopefully just a coincidence and not a trend that would indicate any trouble. He'll look to bounce back against the Pirates in his next start.
