Justin Verlander fell to 11-8 on Tuesday night versus Colorado, allowing two runs on six hits over six innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Verlander struck out 11 and walked none en route to the quality start. The 35-year-old was cruising through five innings before allowing a two-run homer to Nolan Arenado in the sixth. Unfortunately for those who play in leagues that count wins, the Houston offense was nowhere to be found tonight. Verlander now has a 2.52 ERA here in the middle of August and should be one of the top fantasy starters for the stretch run.
