Mallex Smith went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Yankees. Smith now has a slash line of .293/.369/.411 through 338 at-bats this season.
Fantasy Impact:
After a hitting streak of six games, Smith is now hitless in back-to-back efforts. Smith's 25 stolen bases are good for 4th in the AL and his surge in the month of August make him one of the better waiver wire additions here during the dog days.
