Evan Longoria went 1-for-2 with a single, walk, and a run scored in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Dodgers. Longoria is now slashing .254/.292/.434 through 327 at-bats on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
After missing extended time, Longoria has put together a strong end of July and beginning of August, posting batting averages of .292 and .277, respectively. With Brandon Belt out for an extended period, the Giants are relying heavily on Longoria to be the power bat in the middle of the lineup, which should give him more opportunities to drive in runs down the stretch.
