Aaron Judge's return delayed after cortisone shot

by Mike Maher | Yankees Correspondent | Wed, Aug 15th 8:59pm EDT

New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge has undergone a cortisone injection and isn't expected to return by the initial three-week timetable projected by the club, reports Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. Judge is on the disabled list with a chip fracture in his right wrist. (MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

This is not the news that Judge, the Yankees, or fantasy owners were hoping for, but he did undergo a precautionary MRI that nothing was missed from the initial evaluation. Judge was placed on the disabled list on July 27 and has not yet swung a bat due to continued discomfort in his wrist.
