Jacob Faria logs first start since his return from the DL

by Douglas Roth | Brewers Correspondent | Wed, Aug 15th 11:31pm EDT

Jacob Faria allowed one run in 3 1/3 innings against the Yankees on Wednesday. He gave up three hits and two walks while striking out three. He lowered his season ERA to 4.84.

Fantasy Impact:

Faria looked good in his first start since returning from the DL. It is a positive sign that not only the Rays think he is ready to see more pitches and get a start but also that he did not receive an opener. If Faria can find his 2017 form down the stretch he would become a must add player. He should be a two-start pitcher next week with two home matchups against the Royals and the Red Sox.
