Gio Gonzalez allowed eight runs on ten hits in 4.2 innings in the Nationals' 12-1 loss to the Marlins on Sunday. He walked four and struck out five.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez has been atrocious for about two months now, and this is rock bottom. Since June 2 Gonzalez has a 6.75 ERA in 69.1 innings. He is unusable in standard leagues at this point and should be dropped in ten and twelve team leagues. Gonzalez will carry a 7-10 record and 4.51 ERA into his next start Saturday against the Mets.
