Giants tender contract to Brandon Belt

The Giants tendered a contract to Brandon Belt. He is expected to make $3.4 million in his second year of arbitration. (Alex Pavlovic)
Fantasy Impact:
This isn't too surprising, as Belt is generally considered to be the future of the Giants at first. Hand injuries and concussions caused Belt to miss over 100 games in 2014. In the 61 he played, he posted a .243/.306/.449 line with 12 home runs. If Belt can stay healthy, he'll be a corner infielder or utility option in most leagues.
