Clayton Kershaw racks up eight strikeouts against the Cardinals

Clayton Kershaw was very sharp but it was noticeable when his fatigue started to kick in. Kershaw went six innings (92 pitches), allowing three earned runs with eight strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
The eight strikeouts while leaving with the lead is nice but Kershaw allowed eights hits and an uncharacteristic two walks. Not the best performance but solid enough to keep fantasy owners happy. Kershaw’s next start will be a huge one at home against the first place Rockies.
