Braves add RF Nick Markakis; Atlanta building for the future

To some, this move does not make much sense, but John Hart, Braves GM, has a plan. The move is to fill a role made by the trade of Jason Heyward. If Markakis falters after a year, then perhaps another move will be made. But the plan is to make Atlanta a contender starting in 2016. (Jeff Passan )
Fantasy Impact:
Coming from the AL to join a rebuilding NL team might be just the ticket Markakis needs to build on his career. He's no All-Star, but he is a servicable and cheap outfielder for fantasy purposes. The 2015 year will be more or less stress free and allow him to produce without pressure. It's a good situation for both parties and fantasy ballers.
