Cole Hamels lasted six innings Wednesday versus the Diamondbacks. He would allow seven runs in taking his first loss with the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Hamels has been excellent with the Cubs so it is reasonable to wonder if it was just a bad night. He is a very strong pitcher and should be favored in his next start versus Pittsburgh. His last scheduled start would be on the last day of the season, but if the game doesn't affect the postseason it remains to be seen how much if any he pitches.
