Yonny Chirinos pitched 4 2/3 innings of shutout baseball against the Blue Jays on Thursday. He gave up one hit and one walk while striking out five. He lowered his season ERA to 3.68.

Chirinos deserved a much better fate than a no-decision today. The Rays blowing a six run lead in the ninth cost Chirinos his fifth win of the year.
