Smith got the start on Sunday, and finished 1-for-5 with a double and a run scored. However, he whiffed three times.
Fantasy Impact:
Unlike fellow teammate Amed Rosario, Smith has failed to blossom into a reliable starter. In 50 games, he has hit .213 with 44 strikeouts and only four walks. He might remain in the minors next year, as Jay Bruce might be the everyday first baseman in 2019.
