Matt Boyd closes season on low note

Matt Boyd surrendered six runs on eight hits and a pair of walks over 3 2/3 innings on Wednesday against the Twins. He struck out three batters and also gave up three home runs in the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Boyd looked as if he had turned a corner in the beginning of September, but the wheels have fallen off in his last two starts. He'll finish with a 4.39 ERA and 1.16 WHIP on the season. The fly ball pitcher will be a streaming option at best to start next year.
