Trevor Bauer relieved Carlos Carrasco in Sunday’s season finale against the Royals, tossing the final four innings of the game. He shut the Royals out, allowing just two hits and striking out two. The Tribe won 2-1, giving Bauer the save.
Bauer was on his way to a Cy Young before his leg injury, but appears to be in fine form entering the playoffs. He finishes 2018 with a 2.21 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 221 strikeouts in 175 1/3 innings. He will be drafted within the top four or five rounds in 2019.
