J.D. Martinez guides Red Sox to ALDS game one victory

J.D. Martinez was 2-for-4 with a three-run homer as he guided Boston to a 1-0 division series lead over the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Martinez proved during the 2018 regular season that he was worth every penny and more in regards to his offseason deal, and he started off true to form in his first postseason action. J.D. wasted no time, sending a screaming line drive into the green monster off of J.A. Happ in the first inning to give Boston a 3-0 lead. The runs would prove crucial as the Sox just barely hung on to win the game 5-4. Martinez is a true difference maker in the Red Sox lineup, and he will be the catalyst for if they are to win their ninth World Series in 2018.
