Andrew Benintendi drives in three as Boston crushes Yankees in ALDS game 3

by Dan Tursky | White Sox Correspondent | Mon, Oct 8th 11:35pm EDT

Andrew Benintendi went 2-for-3 with a three-run double, two runs scored, two walks, and a stolen base as the Red Sox demolished the Yankees 16-1 in game three of the ALDS.

Fantasy Impact:

With Boston already up 4-0 in the top of the fourth, Benintendi came up with the bases loaded and cleared them with a double off of reliever Lance Lynn. The hit really put the game out of reach at that point, as Boston's entire lineup could not be stopped on Monday. Benintendi is now 4-for-10 (.400) with three RBIs, three walks, and two steals through the first three games of the series.
