Rollins traded to the Dodgers

by Ryan Devine | Wed, Dec 10th 6:32pm EST

The Philadelphia Phillies have reportedly come to terms with the Los Angeles Dodgers on a trade that would send the former NL MVP to LA. In exchange, the Phillies will receive two minor league pitchers for Rollins and at this point the teams are simply finishing off some minor details that shouldn't hold up the deal from going through. Fantasy Impact:

The Phillies ranked 23rd in runs scored last year so a move to a far more potent Dodger lineup which finished 6th should help to boost Rollins counting stats. Also, while Rollins no longer has the elite skill set he once had, his glove is still above average and there shouldn't be any fear among fantasy owners of missed plate appearances. If Rollins was ever going to have a chance at a renaissance year, this is going to give him the best chance.
