Dan Haren traded to the Marlins

Dan Haren was packaged in a deal that sent Dee Gordon to the Miami Marlins for Andrew Heaney. Haren has expressed his desire to remain in Southern California so there is the possiblity that he may retire. Clark Spencer, the Marlins beat writer for the Miami Herald, believes that the Dodgers will pay Haren's $10 million salary "whether or not he retires." (Clark Spencer on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Haren is a mediocre fantasy commodity at this stage of his career. Last year he went 13-11 and posted a 4.02 ERA with a 1.177 WHIP. He pitched 186 innings with 146 strikeouts and 36 walks.
