Clayton Kershaw signs on for three years and $93 million

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw have agreed to a three year contract worth $93 million. (Los Angeles Times)

Fantasy Impact:

The 30-year-old southpaw had two years and $65 million left on his current deal, so this new contract keeps him in Los Angeles through the 2021 season. There are no opt outs in the new deal and there are bonuses that could increase the value. Kershaw wasn’t as great in 2018 as he has been in the past, but he’s still one of the best pitchers in baseball. He’ll be a top 10 fantasy starter in early 2019 drafts.
