Jacob deGrom wins 2018 NL Cy Young

Jacob deGrom has been awarded the 2018 National League Cy Young award.
Fantasy Impact:
As expected. deGrom received 29-of-30 first place votes to win over Aaron Nola and Max Scherzer. deGrom was the best pitcher in baseball this season and deserves a long look for MVP, though he isn’t even a finalist for that honor. In 217 innings deGrom struck out 269 while posting a 1.70 ERA. At one point he threw 24 consecutive quality starts. deGrom becomes the fourth Mets pitcher to win the award.
