James Paxton traded to Yankees

Fantasy Impact:
Thus begins this winter's hot stove. Paxton was fantastic on a per inning basis in 2018, striking out 208 batters in just 160 1/3 innings pitched. His 3.76 ERA was up quite a bit from the 2.98 mark he registered in 2017, but this is the type of pitcher who can lead a staff. The only problem for him has been health. His 160 1/3 innings last year were a career high. The Mariners are receiving three players in the deal, including one of the Yankees' top prospects Justus Sheffield.
