Free agent third baseman Josh Donaldson has agreed to a one-year, $23M deal with the Atlanta Braves, according to a report from MLB insider Ken Rosenthal. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Donaldson is an offensive force when healthy, but staying healthy has long been his biggest issue. He hit just .246 in 219 plate appearances last season but is only one year removed from hitting .270 with 33 home runs, so this is essentially a one-year "prove it" deal with a handsome salary.
