Jon Heyman has reported that the Mariners and Mets deal regarding Edwin Diaz and Robinson Cano has been finalized, they're both headed to New York. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Diaz will keep his closer role for the Mets. He remains one of the best closers in baseball but expect a significantly less amount of save opportunities compared to the 61 he had for Seattle this past season.
