Yonder Alonso traded to White Sox

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports the White Sox have acquired first baseman Yonder Alonso from the Indians. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Alonso became expendable once Cleveland acquired Carlos Santana and Jake Bauers. The 31-year-old hit 23 homers with a .738 OPS in 2018. Rosenthal also speculated that part of Chicago's rationale for the trade was to convince Manny Machado to sign as a free agent. Alonso is Machado's brother-in-law.
