Matt Adams officially agrees to deal with Washington Nationals

First baseman Matt Adams has agreed to a deal to return to the Washington Nationals on a one-year deal with a mutual option for 2020, the team announced. (Washington Nationals on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Adams played with Washington last season before being sent to his original team, the St. Louis Cardinals, in a waiver deal in August. He will likely only play against right-handers, which somewhat limits his fantasy appeal despite the power he offers. While he played sparingly and struggled after being sent to the Cardinals, he batted .257 with 18 home runs in 277 plate appearances with the Nationals in 2018.
