A.J. Pierzynski signing gives Braves flexibility with Gattis

Pierzynski will back up Christian Bethancourt, which allows the Braves tremendous flexibility with Evan Gattis, at a very affordable price of $2 million plus incentives for the 1-yr contract. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Pierzynski will mostly be a non-factor in fantasy circles, but his signing will allow the Braves to play Evan Gattis in LF. The Braves love Gattis' bat, but he is not a natural outfielder. But he will be eligible for both the LF and C positions in leagues for 2015. This makes Gattis more interesting as he could be a mid to late rounder offering a .810 OPS for owners in the C slot.
