Sonny Gray no longer a lock to get traded

Fantasy Impact:
The Yankees are concerned that CC Sabathia (heart surgery) might not be ready for the start of 2019, which means they would want to hold on to Gray. Morosi adds that the Padres remain interested in Gray but the Yankees are no longer sure they want to trade him. Perhaps Gray could get dealt during spring training if Sabathia is healthy. For now, he isn't going anywhere.
