Free agent second basemen Brian Dozier has agreed to a one-year, $9 million deal with the Washington Nationals, according to MLB insider Jeff Passan. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

While it is not the free agent news that many Washington Nationals fans are hoping for, Dozier is just a year removed from hitting 34 home runs for the Twins. After a down year in 2018, he looks to be betting on himself by signing a one-year deal that should be a win-win for both Dozier and the Nationals.
