Nick Markakis and the Atlanta Braves agreed to a one-year, $6 million deal Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Markakis will return to the Braves in hopes that he can replicate his 2018 campaign. In addition to earning a spot in the All-Star game, Markakis also won a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger award. He slashed .297/.366/.440 in 2018 and as long as he can keep that strikeout rate low, he could be in for another great season.
