A.J. Pollock getting four years and $55 million from Dodgers

Buster Olney of ESPN reports A.J. Pollock is getting $55 million guaranteed over four years in his deal with the Dodgers. (Buster Olney on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Olney adds that Pollock has an opt out after the third year if he reaches a certain number of plate appearances. There is also a fifth year player option for $10 million that includes a $5 million buyout. Pollock began the off-season looking for a deal similar to Lorenzo Cain’s $80 million contract from last winter. He won’t get that much obviously, but he did pretty well for himself considering this current free agent climate. Pollock will be center field regularly for the Dodgers. He’s a high upside, high risk fantasy option.
