Jed Lowrie's MRI (knee) reveals 'no significant damage'

Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen stated during a radio spot with WCBS Newsradio 880 that Jed Lowrie's MRI of his knee revealed "no significant damage" and that he would be brought along slowly. (Wayne Randazzo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is obviously good news and, for the moment, it seems to confirm what the Mets had stated publicly was their suspicion. Lowrie has played at least 153 games in each of the last two seasons, but has otherwise been relatively injury-prone throughout his career. For now, Lowrie's availability for Opening Day does not appear to be in jeopardy, but fantasy owners should continue to monitor his progress.
